Chai Expectations handles everything personally and compassionately, from screening potential matches and arranging first meetings to communicating constructive feedback and bringing prospective relationships to an end when necessary. The overall focus is on quality, compatibility, and caring. You may discover your future spouse on your very first date. It might take a month or more. But you'll know when it's right, and our number one goal is your satisfaction and happiness.
Laurie Berzack, MSW A professional Community Organizer with a Master's degree in social work, Laurie's strengths lie in her unique networking, analytical, and listening skills. Prior to starting Chai Expectations, she informally (and successfully) introduced Jewish singles in the community and realized that helping people find happiness is what she's all about. Laurie has since dedicated herself personally and professionally to providing inspired introductions for Jewish singles of all ages in Charlotte and surrounding communities. Laurie's previous professional experience centered around non-profit fundraising through educational and social events, face-to-face solicitations, prospect researching, grant writing, newsletters, and letter campaigns. Non-profit organizations Laurie has worked for on a full-time or freelance basis include The United Jewish Appeal (now United Jewish Communities), Hillel at Emory University, The American Cancer Society, A Child's Place, Charlotte Advocates for Education, The Afro-American Cultural Center, and Jewish Family Services. She is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and the Charlotte Business Journal's Women in Business Mentor Program. She has served on boards for The Charlotte Jewish Day School, The Charlotte Torah Center, and the National Society of Fundraising Executives. Laurie attended Wurzweiler School of Social Work, a division of Yeshiva University in New York, NY, graduating with a Master's degree with a concentration in Community Organization. Laurie's undergraduate education was earned at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where she received a BA in English and Psychology. The most important thing in Laurie's life, bar none, is her family.
