As a Jewish single, you probably already understand the value of hiring a matchmaker who shares your heritage and is attuned to the challenges you face. Community conscious and committed to helping others from a young age, Laurie has a wealth of professional experience in non-profit fundraising through educational and social events. She's worked with The United Jewish Appeal (now United Jewish Communities), Hillel at Emory University, The American Cancer Society, A Child's Place, Charlotte Advocates for Education, The Afro-American Cultural Center, and Jewish Family Services. She is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and a past board member of The National Society of Fundraising Executives. She is actively involved in The Charlotte Jewish Day School and Ohr Ha ‘Torah Synagogue and has completed the Charlotte Business Journal Women in Business Mentor Program.

Laurie attended Wurzweiler School of Social Work, a division of Yeshiva University in New York, NY, graduating with a Masters Degree with a concentration in Community Organization. Laurie's undergraduate education was earned at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where she received a BA in English and Psychology.

Though extremely passionate about helping Jewish soul mates find each other, the most important thing in Laurie's life is her family. She's been married since 1994 and has two sons.
